TFT-FOS activities

TFT-FOS was founded in 2006 to focus on the development of a high speed multi-sensor/multi-channel system for Fibre Bragg Grating (FBG) interrogation to expand the use of FBG up to audible sound levels, making it suitable for research on resonances and eigenfrequency responses in highly demanding environments.

The result is the Deminsys 850nm, 20 kHz FBG interrogator system with a maximum of 32 sensors. 

Deminsys is the fastest multi-sensor/multi-channel FBG interrogator system on the market. It is totally suitable for fast, dynamic applications. Having multiple sensors per fibre means you can create a very compact network of sensors.
